Note #1: A Little About Me

Hey Guys!

For those who don't know me, this post is for you!

I was born to my parents Mae Chun and Bryan Chun in November of 1996.  I have two younger sisters, Ally and Kimme, and surprisingly, we got along great growing up.  My family is really close, like closer than most (there will be another post about how to deal with family later, because mine is difficult to explain in a few sentences).

I had a very interesting education path.  After preschool and kindergarten, I went to the Charter School of Morgan Hill (Morgan Hill was my hometown).  It was a K-8 school, so I attended Charter until I graduated middle school in 8th grade.  Because I was with the same people for 8 years, I knew everyone and their families very well. After that, I went to Ann Sobrato High School, where I spent my 4 years of high school.  I was a cheerleader for the first two years, but realized that I wanted to focus on my passion.

My passion is dance.  I was put in my first dance class when I was four years old and have been dancing ever since.  I joined the competition team when I was 9 years old at Lana's Dance Studio.  I practiced tap, jazz, ballet (both flat and pointe), lyrical and hip hop!  Once I graduated from high school, I thought that I would quit dancing, but my mother convinced me to create an audition tape and send it to my future school, UC Davis.  When I made it on the UC Davis Dance Team, I was so grateful to my mom for making me do it, because I quickly realized that I loved dance too much to just give up.  I have been on the UC Davis Dance Team for 4 years now and found my best friends from that team!

I am now at UC Davis, where I only have a few more weeks until I graduate!  I will be graduating with a Psychology with and Emphasis in Biology Bachelor of Science degree, and a Communications minor.  I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with that yet, so you all will be able to follow my journey of figuring out what to do for the rest of my life!

Hope this helps everyone get to know me a little better!

Until next time...

Nikki
